Practice Manager | Executive @ CO-STUDIO | Leading Architectural Practice Operations
Co-Studio is an established Christchurch architecture practice delivering education, community, commercial, and residential projects across Aotearoa.
We're looking for an experienced Architectural Graduate or Technician to join our team on a 12-month contract to provide maternity leave cover, supporting project delivery through all stages of design and documentation.
About the Role
You'll be involved in documenting projects across all design phases, including conceptual design, 3D modelling, detailing, and preparing construction drawing packages.
You'll coordinate with consultants, liaise with suppliers, and apply sound technical knowledge to deliver well-resolved documentation.
We use Revit as our primary design platform, so you'll need to be highly proficient and confident working in BIM environments.
You'll work collaboratively within a team and be capable of leading smaller projects independently, under the guidance and supervision of our senior team, contributing to the technical quality and coordination of our work.
Skills and Experience
A relevant architectural qualification such as NDAT, or BAS and MArch (Prof)
Minimum 7+ years' professional experience in architectural documentation and delivery
Advanced Revit skills, with solid BIM knowledge in the Autodesk Construction Cloud environment
Experience with Masterspec and specification writing
Strong understanding of the New Zealand Building Code, standards, and consenting processes
Confident communicator who can work effectively within a team and independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
