What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting to the Technical Services Delivery Manager, the position of Project Manager is a key enabler for the successful delivery of engineering and control projects from inception to closure including initiation, planning, design, execution, commissioning and controlling to achieve specific outcomes for the customer and Northpower of safety, quality, on-time completion and financial targets.
The role scope requires a multi-network capability, with knowledge of different customer network standards.
You’ll project manage capital works, electricity maintenance and corrective tasks within Distribution networks. Some support with design and estimating may be required from time to time.
You’ll constantly interact with (and influence) people right across Northpower’s business as well as clients, subcontractors and the wider community.

Skills & Experience You’ll Bring
Experience in leading projects in the electricity supply industry with considerable internal and external visibility and scrutiny
Strong project management disciplines and methodologies
Excellent communication and people skills
Knowledge of project management tools such as MS Project
A collaborative and people-centric approach.
