Electrician - Meat Processing Plant

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join a hardworking team within a busy meat processing facility. This is a key role responsible for maintaining electrical systems, supporting production uptime, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and servicing across the plant
• Respond to breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime
• Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance in line with production schedules
• Assist with planning and execution of shutdown works and large-scale maintenance projects
• Ensure all electrical systems comply with NZ standards and site safety policies
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Support mechanical team members where required (within scope of electrical duties)
• Promote a strong safety culture and adhere to GMP and hygiene requirements
