About The Opportunity

Join NZX's Smart team as a Risk and Compliance Specialist, where you'll help drive a proactive and disciplined approach to risk and compliance, ensuring Smart meets its regulatory obligations whilst fostering a strong risk culture.

Some Of Your Key Responsibilities

Support implementation of the Risk Management Framework and maintain the risk register across Smart.

Support the operation and continuous improvement of the Compliance Assurance Programme to meet FMCA and related obligations.

Assist with regulatory reporting and compliance obligations.

Prepare and provide timely risk and compliance reporting to management.

Monitor and improve risk and compliance policies and procedures.

Support AML / CFT activities, including staff training.

Drive a proactive risk and compliance culture across Smart.

To be successful in the role you'll need

3-5 years' experience in financial markets / risk environment or in legal services.

Experience and / or interest in funds management.

A relevant undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in Law, Economics, Finance, or Accounting is preferred, not essential.

This is a permanent, full-time role located in Central Auckland.
