Cardiology Service, Whangarei HospitalPermanent full-time position, working 40 hours per weekPlay a pivotal role in enhancing patient experience of angiography through evidence-based practice.Nursing Collective agreements according to qualifications and experience Designated Senior Nurse Grade 2 - 3Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.

About the Role

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist - Angiography, you will utilise specialist nursing knowledge and skills to provide patient focused care and coordination that will optimise the patients journey, improve health outcomes and ensure that an excellent quality of care is provided.

This role will focus on inpatient and outpatient population referred to the Cardiology Service for Angiography and Angioplasty from referral to admission and discharge from the Cath Lab and follow up through the nurse led post procedure clinics.

You would be joining a team of multidisciplinary dedicated staff who work together to enhance cardiac health and wellbeing for those who live in the stunning region of Te Tai Tokerau, Northland.

About you

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist Angiography, you will have a strong commitment to patient safety, quality improvement and ensuring an excellent standard of care delivery.

Our successful candidate will show an ability to adapt to new challenges who communicates effectively, listening to and encouraging the viewpoints of others.

New Zealand Registered Nurse / Midwife with current practicing certificateAt least 7 years post registration experienceRelevant Post Graduate DiplomaAt least 3 years experience in relevant specialty areaDesignated Senior Nurse PDRP or Expert PDRP (demonstrating clinical examples)Experience and / or a certificate in Adult / Clinical TeachingWorking at Health New Zealand
