We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our innovative and proactive IT team on 24-month fixed-term contract.

As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you'll join a small, collaborative team responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting a variety of technologies that deliver resilient and reliable operational systems.

You'll play a key role in delivering both day-to-day support and major company projects, reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager.

What you'll do

Implement and maintain IT systems that adhere to modern cybersecurity standards.

Oversee daily support for production platforms to ensure availability, integrity, and confidentiality of infrastructure components (servers, storage, databases, virtualization, voice services, recovery management).

Support and maintain technologies and platforms for the corporate IT enterprise, working closely with Business Application Teams.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting system performance and business operations.

Ensure high availability of enterprise voice and data platforms.

Contribute to IT project work and companywide improvement initiatives.

Design, maintain, and implement best practice cyber security systems.

Support a strong health and safety culture across all IT infrastructure projects.

What you'll bring

A bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science / Engineering, or a related technical field.

At least 5 years' experience in IT System Engineering & Administration.

Proven experience in IT infrastructure design, implementation, and documentation.

Strong Microsoft Windows Server and Azure skills.

Experience with virtualisation technologies.

Networking experience (Juniper or similar) and / or Linux server experience (or a strong desire to learn).

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
