Kings Seeds is a long-established horticultural business supplying premium seeds to home gardeners, retailers, and commercial growers across Aotearoa. Based in the beautiful rural Bay of Plenty, we are a small, friendly SME where teamwork, passion, and quality drive everything we do.

About the role

You’ll lead a team of around 10 across sales, customer service, production, operations and dispatch. This role combines sales leadership with operational oversight and is central to ensuring our customers receive top-quality products on time, every time.

Key responsibilities

• Leading and supporting sales, customer service, inventory management, production, operations, order fulfillment and dispatch
• Supporting the development and execution of sales strategy, online offering and providing technical support and inventory knowledge to staff and customers
• Customer relationship management including new accounts, bad debts and problem solving
• Development of forecasts and pricing, and analysis of reports for monitoring and meeting business growth targets to ensure sustainable business operation.
• Managing daily operations : packing schedules, workflow and order fulfilment
• Driving improvements across systems, processes, efficiency and customer experience
• Coaching and developing staff to build capability, consistency and high operational performance.
