The role of Health and Safety Advisor is critical to maintaining health and safety compliance.
The Health and Safety Advisor will sit within our high-performing and dynamic Health and Safety Business Partnering team. This team makes up part of our wider Health, Safety and Security team in the Council. The purpose of the team is to enable the organisation to provide healthy, safe, and secure environments for workers, visitors, and members of the public, along with meeting or exceeding relevant legislative and safety management system requirements.
The Health and Safety Business Partnering team is led by Kelly who has a real passion for making a difference and her team are the same. They are hard-working yet know how to have fun and are dedicated professionals focusing on making a tangible difference.
As a Health and Safety Advisor, you'll be a true generalist who can support the wider Health and Safety team with a range of activities that promote a capable, well-informed and proactive safety culture at the Council.

We’re looking for someone who has had two-three years’ experience in a health and safety role and is now looking to grow their experience and skillset.
You will bring a demonstrable knowledge of and experience in the following :
