Southern Cross Gillies Hospital, in Epsom, is designed with a focus on short‑stay surgery and family‑centred care. The hospital has four theatres, a purpose‑built day‑stay facility and 20 in‑patient beds with ensuite facilities. It is a centre of expertise for head and neck surgery and otolaryngology (ENT), and also offers oral and maxillofacial, gynaecological, plastic and reconstructive, and general paediatric surgery, backed up by friendly, highly professional nursing teams and systems designed to benefit patients of all ages.

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Supply Chain Coordinator to join our hospital team and support onsite inventory operations. This is a 0.8 FTE position (32 hours per week) worked across five days, with flexibility in work hours as required to meet the needs of the role.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of key supply chain activities, including receipting goods, physically putting away stock, managing inventory storage, and ensuring master data accuracy. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you’ll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to make sure inventory is handled efficiently, safely, and in line with hospital standards.

You’ll also assist staff with inventory enquiries, participate in stock counts and discrepancy investigations, and look for opportunities to improve processes. Maintaining clean and organised storage areas and upholding health and safety standards will be an important part of your day. This position requires someone who is physically fit, detail‑oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

• At least 1–3 years experience within a supply chain / inventory management‑focused role
• Proficient in using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking and reporting
• Comfortable with physical work, including lifting, moving, and organising stock in a hospital environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate master data and follow SOPs
• Effective communicator with the ability to build collaborative relationships across teams and with suppliers
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable
