Operational Risk and Assurance Specialist

We are looking for a risk and assurance specialist with knowledge of public sector investment processes to design and implement testing solutions for a number of priority assurance activities. The purpose of these testing solutions will be to support compliance reviews of key controls within the investment process.

This will likely involve :

• reviewing current processes and system capabilities to develop suitable options for testing each of the priority activities (this may include a mix of different options i.e., exception reporting, compliance reviews, etc.)
• once agreed, design parameters and processes for all testing solutions – this includes creating predefined templates for data capture and
• creating a central repository for reporting findings of testing and the management of any follow up actions.

You will also assist with the review and refresh of risk management practices i.e., supporting the investment teams to review risk registers and provide ad‑hoc operational risk and assurance support to the investment teams as requested.
