  • Financial Administration : Processing financial transactions accurately (including domestic and international payments), managing expense coding, tracking, and keeping financial records. Accuracy in financial administration is crucial for mitigating risk.

ACFR Administrator will be a key contact for high‑profile external stakeholders, including international academics and industry partners, representing the ACFR and AUT.

To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate the ability to prioritise a diverse range of tasks in a timely and efficient manner, managing a varied workload that fluctuates with the events calendar.

Key Requirements for the Role :

  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
  • Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy.
  • Proven self‑management skills in organisation, task prioritisation, and time management.
  • The ability to work well autonomously.
  • Desirable experience (not mandatory) :

  • Experience in event management (e.g., organising conferences) or the hospitality sector.
  • Experience working in a tertiary education environment.
  • Experience with AUT systems for financial transactions and bookings.
  • You must be self‑motivated, proactive, approachable, and trustworthy. A calm focus is essential for managing disruptions effectively.
