Role Overview
As a Site Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, leading crews and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
You will play a key role in ensuring that the Company’s core values – Excellence, People, Integrity, Innovation, and Collaboration – are consistently upheld by the teams within your area.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily pre-starts, risk assessments, and safety checks
- Plan and sequence work to meet project timelines and budgets
- Monitor productivity, material usage, and workmanship quality
- Coordinate plant, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to site teams
- Foster a strong culture of safety by actively ensuring the reporting of all incidents, injuries, near misses, and events in a timely manner within your teams
- Maintain accurate site records and report progress
- Engage positively with clients, landowners, and the public
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience in supervising pavements and / or drainage (three waters) projectsStrong leadership and communication skillsAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsCompetence in managing subcontractors and suppliersComfortable using mobile apps and reporting systemsThe availability to work on projects outside the region on occasionQualifications
Trades Qualification (level 4 or higher), e.g. Drainlaying / Infrastructure or similarA company phone, laptop and vehicle are available as part of the package for this role.
