The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Quality, Risk & Safety Advisor to lead and enhance our quality systems, risk management frameworks, and health & safety practices. This is a pivotal role where you’ll influence organisational performance, ensure compliance with sector standards, and foster a culture of safety and accountability.
What You’ll Do
Drive continuous improvement by creating, maintaining and evolving our Quality Management System (QMS).
Lead internal audits and support external accreditation processes, including IANZ accreditation.
Oversee organisational risk management, including maintaining the risk register and advising on mitigation strategies.
Coordinate health and safety systems, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice.
Provide training and guidance to build capability in quality, risk, and safety across the organisation.
Report on performance and identify opportunities for innovation in patient care and workplace practices.
What We’re Looking For
A registered health professional (e.g., Registered Nurse) with a tertiary qualification in health.
Minimum of 8 years’ clinical experience and ideally 3–5 years in quality, risk, or health & safety roles.
Strong knowledge of NZ healthcare standards and legislation.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
A proactive, collaborative approach with a passion for continuous improvement.
