Management Accountant

The Opportunity Reporting to a Finance Manager who has previously had responsibility for a large component of this role, you’ll have the level of support required to quickly establish yourself in the business. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business which will provide exposure to accounting concepts and business partnering in a well known organisation, allowing you to continue to grow your commercial finance acumen.

Utilising a large ERP system, and with solid reporting infrastructure built up in Excel and other analytical tools, the successful candidate with have the chance to develop strong systems and reporting skills.

The Role

• Preparation of monthly management reporting, including providing analysis and insight on results
• Assisting with the yearly budget and periodic forecast processes, including liaising with operation
• Working with non-finance stakeholders across the business to provide financial support and to achieve successful business outcomes
• Reviewing GST returns and completing other statutory compliance matters
• Using Excel and other reporting systems to provide analysis which supports decision making
• Providing support to transactional accounting staff (AP, Payroll etc)
• Applying a continuous improvement mindset to all systems and processes to ensure successful, efficient business outcomes are achieved
