Health, Safety & Wellbeing Advisor – Fixed-Term

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the delivery of our Protection Strategy to enable healthy work where our people can thrive.
  • Coaching and supporting leaders to own health, safety, and wellbeing.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to identify and control critical risks and ensuring reliable and effective risk management.
  • Building confidence in the use of our health and safety systems.
  • Assisting with event learning activities and facilitating risk assessments.
  • Advocating for teams to drive practical improvements that support healthy work.
  • Conducting internal reviews, audits, and observations to support continuous improvement and our assurance programme.
  • Supporting the delivery of wellbeing initiatives across the business.

You’ll work across diverse business areas and with a range of external delivery partners and contractors. Your ability to influence, educate, and bring others on the journey will be key to your success.

You’ll Bring

  • A collaborative, professional, and pragmatic approach, with the ability to balance strategic goals and frontline realities to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Proven health and safety experience in complex or high-risk environments such as aviation, construction, operations, or emergency services.
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety management systems and processes.
  • Confidence working in varied situations with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ideally, you’ll have a relevant H&S qualification (or equivalent experience) and the confidence to influence at all levels of the organisation.
