• About the opportunity :
• We are currently looking for a
• Warehouse Supervisor
• to work at our
• Townsville site
• . The Warehouse Supervisor is an integral member of the Supply Chain and Site leadership team with management responsibilities for a high performing team and team culture. The Warehouse Supervisor ensures production is delivered in a cost effective manner
• The required shift pattern is :
• Monday to Friday - 6.30am - 2.30pm
• Payrate starts at $35.18 per hour
• Key Responsibilities include :
• Receive, check and sign for all deliveries made to site
• Responsible for stores safety, security and hygiene
• Unload / Load all inbound / outbound inwards goods and receival
• Effective management of all department processes
• Ensure materials are requisitioned, and usage is to standard & variances are identified & subsequently rectified in a timely and accurate manner
• Ensure all production, safety and quality reporting requirements are supplied in an accurate & timely mannerParticipate in daily meetings & ensure that all relevant information is provided to direct reports
• Weekly stock counts and reconcile across packaging / raw ingredients and consumables
• Supports in optimising department operations through efficiencies and cost saving initiatives
• To be successful in this role you will need to :
• 3+ years Supply Chain or Distribution / Warehouse experience
• Forklift Licence (required) 2+ years experience
• Related industry experience (preferably within the food, dairy, beverage industry
• Computer skills – Microsoft Office, SAP experience
• Leadership and Communication
• Logical, analytical and problem solving abilities
