Sales Rep - Precision Agriculture (Outbound Calling)

Due to continued growth, Tabula - New Zealand’s most trusted precision agricultural system - has a new position in our North Island sales team, championing outbound sales efforts.

What you’ll be doing

Working with our sales team to identify prospect opportunities across the North Island.

Lead qualification and appointment setting through a mix of cold calling and existing warm leads, including following up promotional and trade show activity.

Calling existing customers to understand upselling opportunities.

Closing deals over the phone when possible.

Logging interactions in our CRM.

You’ll also occasionally be called on to help the sales team support local customers and participate in sales presentations.

Highly personable, able to get along with anyone.

With strong telesales experience, a willingness to cold call and build relationships over the phone. This is essential.

With experience in ag contracting, general agriculture or horticulture - you need to be able to talk their talk.

With a lot of energy and drive - and an ability to grow with the company as we expand.

This is a part-time role, up to 30 hours per week . While the hours are flexible, you'll need to coordinate with the sales team to ensure you’re available when they need you. The role will be based in our central-Hastings office, and local travel to support customers may be required at times.
