The Office of the Mayor at Far North District Council is seeking a Research Analyst to provide trusted, sound, and evidence-based advice to the Mayor and Elected Members. Your work will underpin informed decision‑making, strengthen public engagement, and support initiatives that reflect the priorities of the Mayor and the needs of our diverse Far North communities.

The salary for this position is Grade 17 within Council's salary structure (Band : $94,208 to $110,833 pro rata per annum) dependent on qualifications and experience, plus Kiwi Saver.
