About The Role
We are seeking enthusiastic Guest Services Agents for our 153‑room hotel at Sudima Auckland Airport. The role is part‑time (minimum 20 hours per week) and permanent, with shifts covering 7 : 00 AM–3 : 30 PM, 3 : 00 PM–11 : 30 PM and 11 : 00 PM–7 : 30 AM. The primary objective is to check guests in and out in a timely manner while delivering outstanding customer service. Guest service duties include porter work and assistance in other hotel areas as needed.
Responsibilities
- Ensure a smooth check‑in and check‑out process and overall guest satisfaction.
- Provide a warm and friendly welcome to every guest.
- Follow security and emergency procedures to ensure safety.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of all room categories and amenities.
- Answer phone calls and coordinate guest requests with relevant departments.
- Identify and acknowledge VIP guests and provide appropriate service.
- Provide accurate local information (amenities, transport, medical facilities).
- Attend ongoing training.
- Carry or store luggage and provide car parking support when required.
- Pickup and drop‑off guests to / from the airport when requested.
- Clean and maintain public areas.
- Prepare food and beverages for room service; clear trays.
- Advise on and arrange reservations and accommodations.
- Receive and resolve guest complaints.
Requirements
