The Role
Joining the Vehicle Development team, you will take ownership of major vehicle systems for bespoke motorsport and high‑end automotive projects. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle - from first principles and concept design through to detailed analysis, manufacturing, and validation.
Key Responsibilities
- End‑to‑End Ownership : Own the lifecycle of major vehicle systems, applying first‑principles engineering and cutting‑edge tools to deliver world‑class performance
- Advanced Design : Create robust, high‑quality CAD models and technical drawings.
- Analysis & Validation : Perform structural analysis on load‑bearing components using FEA tools, supported by hand calculations and physical testing.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration : Lead design reviews and collaborate with manufacturing and aerodynamic teams to ensure designs meet strict performance requirements.
- Testing : Develop equipment and procedures to validate mechanical systems.
What We Are Looking For
Education : Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.Experience : Minimum 3 years’ experience in a high‑performance environment.Technical Stack : Advanced proficiency in high‑end CAD and PLM software (Experience with Siemens NX / Teamcenter is highly regarded).Simulation : Strong background in structural analysis and FEM simulation.Manufacturing Knowledge : A deep understanding of machining, composite layup, and additive manufacturing processes.Mindset : A strategic thinker who is detail‑oriented, self‑driven, and thrives under the pressure of high‑performance deadlines.Why Apply?
