Key Responsibilities

Interpret and work from detailed building plans and specifications

Measure, cut, shape, and install timber and other structural components

Install walls, ceilings, floors, windows, doors, roofing, and interior fittings

Assist with framing, formwork, cladding, and finishing work

Collaborate with site managers, subcontractors, and team members

Comply with New Zealand Building Code and Health & Safety requirements

Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 2 years of hands-on carpentry experience

Strong practical skills and sound knowledge of tools and building materials

Ability to work independently and take initiative

Physically fit and comfortable with construction work

Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Site Safe card and relevant trade qualifications (preferred but not essential)

What We Offer

Competitive hourly rate : $29–$32 , based on experience

Full-time permanent role with at least 30 hours per week
