GSL Education are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join schools in Christchurch .

As a Teaching Assistant (TA) , you will support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons, providing one-to-one or small group support to students to help them achieve academic and personal success.

Responsibilities : Support teachers in preparing and delivering lessons across the curriculum.

Assist students with their learning on a one-to-one or small group basis.

Encourage students' participation, confidence, and independence in class.

Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.

Support pupils with additional learning needs or behavioural challenges.

Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to teachers.

Contribute to lesson planning and classroom organisation.

Requirements : Experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable.

CACHE Level 2 / 3, NVQ Level 2 / 3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance, or equivalent qualifications are preferred.

Ability to adapt to different age groups and learning needs.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
