We are seeking a Chef Manager to lead our catering operations at CHT Hillsborough, a senior living site in Auckland.

This role combines hands-on culinary expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring high-quality meals and exceptional service for residents.

You'll manage catering, cleaning, and laundry services while driving compliance, team development, and commercial success.

Plan, prepare, and present nutritious menus tailored to residents' dietary needs.

Lead and manage a high-performing team, including rostering and performance reviews.

Oversee stock control, ordering, and cost management to meet budget targets.

Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and infection control standards.

Build strong relationships with clients and residents, ensuring exceptional service delivery.

Proven experience in a similar leadership role within aged care or hospitality.

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and drive efficiency.

Excellent communication and team management skills with a hands-on approach.

In-depth knowledge of food hygiene, health & safety, and workplace regulations.

Computer literate and confident using systems for rostering, ordering, and reporting.
