Retail Assistant

We are currently looking for Retail Assistant for our busy Vape Store located in Tuakau. Reliability and right attitude are key to succeeding in this role. You should be hard working, energetic, self-motivated and willing to go the extra mile to achieve results for our customers. You must be available full time, willing to work the morning, late evening and weekend shifts as the store is open 7 days.

Days required : Monday to Sunday (rotating shift)

Hourly rate : $24-30

Your duties will include but not limited to :

• Assisting the customers with the product queries, advising them about the different range of available vape products and prices
• Serving the customers at the checkout register to process the sale transactions, handling the cash register
• Maintain a deep understanding of the current promotions and discounts
• Preparing the list of the products to be ordered
• Be part of the inventory stock take on regular basis
• Receiving the inward goods, checking and tally the products against the purchase orders, note the variance and inform to the manager
• Stoking and filling the shelves on timely basis
• Keeping the store clean and tidy at all times
• Adherence to the regulations and age verification processes for selling vape products
• Meeting the occupational health and safety standards
