SIXT New Zealand is looking for a motivated and results-oriented Rental Sales Agent to join our high-performing team!

This is a Fixed Term Role

Based at one of our busy branches, you'll be the face of SIXT—delivering exceptional service while actively identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our premium products.

Whether it's recommending the perfect vehicle for a South Island road trip, offering upgrades, or promoting value-added extras like GPS, insurance packages, or child seats, you'll play a key role in helping customers get the most out of their journey while contributing to branch sales targets.

Your key responsibilities will include :

Proactively promoting and selling rental upgrades, protection packages, and additional services

Welcoming and engaging with customers in person, over the phone, and via email

Meeting and exceeding individual and team sales KPIs (e.g. revenue per rental, conversion rates)

Processing reservations, managing accounts, and ensuring accurate documentation

Collaborating with branch and regional teams to ensure seamless customer experiences

Supporting operational excellence and contributing to a positive team culture

About You

Strong communication and persuasive selling skills

Confidence in identifying sales opportunities and closing deals

A proactive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team

Previous experience in customer service or sales (retail, hospitality, or travel / tourism sectors preferred)

Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as part of a rotating roster
