My client is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join their Architecture practice and develop modern digital platforms for their organisation. This will be a 9‑month fixed‑term role based in Wellington with a December or January start date. You will be working on a range of initiatives to ensure the team can meet evolving project demands.
Key Requirements
- 5+ years experience as a solution architect delivering complete solutions from business to the technology layer, with a strong architecture background in one or more of the following domains : data, software, infrastructure, security, integration, identity and cloud. (Applications solutions architecture, D365 and integration expertise is a nice to have)
- Thorough understanding of architecture development framework, architecture modelling, principles and good practices, and producing high‑quality architecture artifacts.
- Ability to quickly acquire a deep understanding of the complexities of designing solutions in challenging or leading‑edge environments.
- Strong analytical skills, particularly the ability to think “architecturally” about strategy and business environment.
- Experience within New Zealand Government Ways of Working.
- Provide technology leadership to architects and technical experts while making architectural decisions.
- Excellent relationship management and audience‑tuned communication skills.
- Work well with a diverse range of stakeholders and build strong relationships.
Essential Qualification
Bachelor Degree in a related field.Our client is motivated to appoint for this role ASAP. You will be based in Wellington and need to have either NZ Permanent Residency or NZ Citizenship.
