Intermediate Civil Engineer

Hutchinson is a well-established, multi-disciplinary Civil, Structural, and Geotechnical Engineering Consultancy. We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join our team in our busy Orewa office.

This is a client-facing position in which you will be involved in a diverse range of projects including 3 waters infrastructure and land development, spanning the entire project lifecycle from site investigation through to design, consenting, and construction completion. Our projects serve both public and private sector clients.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree-qualified Engineer with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a New Zealand based consultancy
• Solid understanding of New Zealand design codes, standards, and legislation
• Experience in designing and delivering civil infrastructure solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial projects
• Experience using AutoCAD, Civil 3D would be advantageous
• Experience in project management
• Strong report writing capability
