What You’ll Do

• Connect financial strategy to member value, ensuring decisions, investments and capital allocation directly support MAS’s purpose and long‑term member outcomes.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, Board and senior leadership team by providing commercial insights and strategic decision support.
• Lead end‑to‑end digital financial transformation by modernising systems and implementing technologies such as AI‑enabled analytics to improve forecasting, reporting automation, scenario planning and operational efficiency.
• Ensure robust governance and compliance across statutory reporting, internal controls, treasury, tax, regulatory obligations and ESG reporting.
• Oversee disciplined investment and capital allocation, setting hurdle rates, tracking ROI and managing reinsurance activities to support financial resilience.
• Build trusted external partnerships with banks, reinsurers, rating agencies, auditors, actuaries, regulators and industry bodies to support MAS’s financial strength and reputation.
• Collaborate across business units – including actuarial, underwriting, risk and technology – to strengthen commercial decision‑making and support wider organisational transformation.
