Senior Advisor Online Services

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Advisor to join the Online Services team in the Future Services branch at Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE).

The position is a fixed-term appointment until November

• , Wellington based, with a salary range of $101,911 – $121,196 plus KiwiSaver.

Key Responsibilities

Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders across the organisation and the wider ministry to address gaps in processes that impact the delivery of the strategic direction and initiatives of Online Services.

Lead and support tactical responses to operational activities and drive efforts towards the successful implementation of a fit-for-purpose product to provide an end-to-end business solution that meets the needs of customers and operational teams.

Provide specialist operational advice ensuring the implementation of the strategic direction for the ADEPT product, including embedding ADEPT into the business so that INZ can fully utilise the online product's opportunities.

Utilise strong business knowledge of the Enhanced Immigration Online system (ADEPT) or rapidly assimilate new information to improve system delivery.

Manage relationships with senior leaders, colleagues and stakeholders; provide high-level strategic and operational advice to identify improvement opportunities and ensure good outcomes for INZ.

Skills and Experience Required

Experience working with leadership teams and providing high-level strategic and operational advice.

Strong understanding of developing and managing organisation-wide systems and processes.

Ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders at all levels.

Proven ability to deliver successful outcomes in a demanding environment.

Strong strategic thinking skills, including risk assessment and long-term outcome forecasting.

Strong decision-making skills, using inclusive, well-rounded, informed approaches.

Ability to influence, lead and facilitate others to achieve outcomes.
