Mō te Tūranga | About the role :

As a Bartender in The Local Taphouse you will be responsible for interacting with customers, taking food and beverage orders, preparing and presenting drinks and accepting payments. You’ll also help to keep the bar looking spic and span and assist with re-stocking. As and when required, you will act up into a Duty Manager position in which you will lead the team during your shift. When acting up into the Duty Manager role you will be remunerated at a higher hourly rate.

You will also;

• Ensure excellent outlet presentation and set up including ensuring sufficient stock levels
• Participate in bar and beverage promotions
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining the quality of the bar products
• Promote responsible alcohol consumption by guests in accordance with company host responsibility programme and training

This is a Part Time opportunity, working evenings and weekends approx 12 - 18 hours each week. Sunday availability is essential for this position.
