Christchurch Women’s Refuge) Charitable Trust is a social change agency that offers a comprehensive range of services for people at every stage of their journey towards overcoming family and sexual violence and its enduring effects. We aim to break the intergenerational family cycle of trauma and harm. Aviva supports people of all ages and all genders, whatever their experience of violence.

We are looking for a Family Violence Support Worker to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional individual and group-based services to support adults, youth and children experiencing family violence, or at risk of using family violence.
• Facilitate group sessions and deliver safety education to individuals and groups experiencing family violence.
• Coordinate with other agencies to ensure timely, co‑ordinated support for clients.

This is a full‑time permanent position. Hours are Monday to Friday, with an optional after‑hours roster.
