Job Description

About the role : We’re on the lookout for a Design Engineer to join our Auckland manufacturing office! Your expertise in design, selections, and documentation will help us deliver HVAC solutions that are efficient, effective, and tailored to specific needs. While prior industry experience is ideal, we’re also open to considering graduates with 1–2 years of relevant experience who demonstrate strong technical capability and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support continuous product development and improvement initiatives.
• Manage improvement projects through the ECR and ECN processes.
• Refine product designs using performance data, customer feedback, and testing outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply, Compliance, R&D, and Operations.
• Maintain and update ERP structures (MOM / BOM) and ensure design documentation aligns with quality standards.
• Provide technical support to production, maintenance, procurement, and warehouse teams.
• Participate in strategic planning, including supplier part transitions and project prioritisation.
• Support knowledge sharing within the engineering team and contribute to new product development feedback loops.
• Promote and adhere to health, safety, and environmental practices, including Lean principles (5S).
