• About the Role
• The primary purpose of the Retentions and Leasing Analyst role is to manage construction contract retention reconciliations and maintain the leased clinical equipment register, ensuring all lease contracts are accurately accounted for in line with relevant accounting standards and legislation.The Retentions and Leasing Analyst is responsible for safeguarding compliance with lease terms set by both providers and lessees, while working closely with internal and external auditors to ensure proper reporting of retentions and equipment leases. Through these responsibilities, this position contributes directly to the organisation's financial integrity and effective management of capital resources..
• About you
• To be successful in this role you will have the following :
• A tertiary qualification in a relevant field and / or equivalent experience.
• Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial management and reporting, with proven experience ensuring the accurate reconciliation of construction contract retentions and compliance with relevant accounting standards and legislation.
• Strong experience in maintaining leased clinical equipment registers, ensuring that all equipment lease contracts are accurately accounted for in accordance with accounting standards and comply with the terms set by both the leasing company and the lessee.
• Demonstrated ability to provide timely and accurate information on retentions and equipment leases to asset 5 portfolio teams, facilitating effective decision-making processes
• Familiarity with financial management software and reporting tools that enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial data analysis will be an advantage.
