We're on the lookout for an exceptional Power BI talent to join our highly engaged Category team in Auckland.

As our Category Analytics Specialist, you'll play a key role in bringing data to life — improving access, usability, and insight generation for our Demand Associates across Snacking, Pet, and Food segments.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead the way in improving scan / shopper data access and usability across all business segments.

Own and enhance the Mars NZ Power BI reporting hub – you'll be our go-to Power BI and Power Query expert.

Create and maintain a range of self-serve dashboards, empowering teams to access insights independently.

Act as the technical owner for Perfect Store reporting, analysis, and development.

Support BI localisation projects and drive consistency across reporting frameworks.

What You'll Bring

A passion for data visualisation and storytelling through Power BI – you're the person people turn to for smarter insights.

Solid experience with Microsoft Excel and a knack for turning complex data into clear, actionable reports.

Background in data analytics, category management, or insights, ideally within an FMCG or retail environment.

A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Statistics, Finance, Marketing) is preferred.

Strong communication skills – you can translate data into business impact and influence decisions.

Please note : This role is a Maternity backfill contract being offered on an initial 6 Month period, with the potential to be extended for a further 6 months.
