The Analyst, Evaluation & Research reports to the Manager, Evaluation & Research in the Data & Insights group within Te Pae Aronui.
In this role you will support the Evaluation & Research Team in building evaluation capability across the Ministry and promote the effective use of evidence by providing high quality advice so that the Ministry, early learning providers, schools, education professionals, parents, whānau, learners and communities can put their efforts in the right place, in the right way, at the right time, to enable learners to succeed.
Salary range : $74,815 – $90,347 per annum + 3% KiwiSaver.

About the Team
The Evaluation & Research Team performs a strategic function as the Ministry of Education's centre of expertise for evaluation – helping decision-makers to determine what works, why, and for whom. We guide best practice and set standardised approaches to research and evaluation to support better investment decisions for educational outcomes.
The Evaluation & Research Team is part of Te Mahau | Te Pae Aronui | Operations & Integration. Te Pae Aronui connects people, knowledge, services and regulatory processes to help shape an inclusive education system.
