About the role
As an Āhua Gallery Host, you’ll play a key role in creating an exceptional visitor experience within the Āhua Gallery – supporting the presentation and sale of Māori artworks and assisting with exhibitions.
You’ll help ensure the gallery runs smoothly day-to-day by assisting with sales, maintaining displays, caring for taonga, and engaging manuhiri in a warm, professional, and culturally grounded way.
This role combines customer service excellence with pride in Māori arts and traditions. You’ll contribute to meeting sales targets, maintaining high presentation standards, and ensuring every visitor leaves with a meaningful connection to our culture and people.
