The role
The role is responsible for delivering NZPM’s property strategy, managing our maintenance, upgrade and development programmes, managing lease renewals, rent reviews, ensuring all day‑to‑day property matters are efficiently and professionally managed including managing all payments to our landlords.
We are seeking a go‑getter; you will need to have substantial property management experience in purchasing and disposing property, managing upgrades, undertaking lease negotiations in the New Zealand market at a senior level so you come in and hit the ground running.
You’ll enjoy building and maintaining effective relationships with landlords and property owners and be skilled at negotiating, plus have a very good eye for detail and know all about due diligence. Be open to travelling throughout NZ, where required. Provide support to H&S and Operation functions.
We need someone who knows about the legal stuff too, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation including property law, insurance, trade practice, employment, health, safety, and environmental.
