Moana-Nui-a-Kiwa Pool & Leisure Centre is offering a permanent opportunity for a passionate and experienced Learn to Swim Team Leader to join our vibrant aquatics team.

This role is central to delivering high-quality swim education and ensuring our programmes are safe, inclusive, and enjoyable for all participants.

As Team Leader, you’ll be actively involved in :

• Leading and mentoring a team of swim instructors
• Overseeing programming and lesson quality
• Supporting day-to-day operations, including teaching when needed
• Managing customer service and resolving issues on-site
• Collaborating with internal teams to deliver community-focused initiatives

You’ll also play a key role in health and safety leadership, staff development, and ensuring compliance with sector standards and Auckland Council policies.

This is an on-site position. You will be working 40 hours per week, rostered over 7 days.

The Swim School operates seven days a week, with you predominantly working from Sunday to Thursday. Flexibility and commitment to working weekdays, weekends, and rostered hours are essential.

Pay rate : starting at $76K+

Our employer KiwiSaver contribution is in addition to the base salary offered.

This position is deemed a safety-sensitive role and will require pre-employment drug testing.
