Permanent, part-time role (0.6 FTE, 24 hours per week)
Salary $59,024 - $74,442 p.a pro-rata

About the role
The Intellectual Disability Service (IDS) is part of the Specialist Mental Health Services based at Wakari Hospital, high above Dunedin.
Our IDS comprises of three parts :
Ward 10a - Medium secure forensic Intellectual Disability unit
The step-down Cottage
The Community Liaison team
As a Mental Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for :
supporting our nurses and other members of the healthcare team
patient movement
patient cares, as required
stock reconciliation
ward maintenance
patient watch / supervision, with one-on-one care as required.
