Role : Playgroup / Pre-Nursery Teacher
Main Responsibilities :
Maintain the Montessori Classroom environmentAssist in establishing and maintaining the Montessori classroom culture, paying particular attention to the needs of the students.Prepares and maintains the environment, observes behaviours, models grace and courtesy, preserves and protects lessons, and assists in developing independence.Monitor the environment to make sure students aren’t overwhelmed and anxious.Engage students within the classroom by interacting and thinking about what is happening around them.
Clean‑up of the classroom by ensuring that it is always tidy.Assisting Children with their toiletry needs.Assists individual students in performing activities initiated by the teachers in small groups or on to one setting.Inform the lead of any classroom difficulties, including discipline, health, equipment needs etc.Assist in preparation / production of instructional materials, i.e. typing, duplicating, cutting art & craftwork, modifying materials.Communicate openly and regularly with the lead to discuss goals for the class and individual students.Supervise free play activities and handle ad‑hoc duties as requestedRequirements :
Looking for an experienced EY2 or L1 Teacher for our Kindergarten School at Queenstown to take care of PG-PN Children (8 : 30 am to 3 : 30pm, Mon-Fri),Experience / Knowledge of Montessori Method will have an added advantage.Able to join immediately.At least 2-5 years of experience in working with little ones.Have demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others and willingness to assume any assigned responsibilities in the school.Ability to adapt to the changing needs of children and the school environment.Diploma / Training Certificate in Montessori Methods of teaching is preferred.Ability to converse well in the English language.Dedicated and responsible with a positive working attitude.Organized, meticulous and able to multi‑task.Interested candidates, please forward your detailed resume with academic qualifications, work experience, current and expected salary to sam @milagrosmontessori.com#J-18808-Ljbffr
