ResponsibilitiesThings you will get to do : Build innovative AI features and experiences utilising cutting-edge models such as GPT and Gemini.Build high-throughput and low-latency microservices and integrationsTake product ideas from ideation to implementationParticipate in design and code reviewsDevelop systems that are highly scalable but easy to maintainResponsibilities : Take product ideas from ideation to implementationDesign and build scalable, high-volume web applications focused on functionalityOptimize the performance of our data ingestion and data processing pipelinesParticipate in design and code reviewsAssist in the growth and mentoring of your teamDevelop systems that are highly scalable, but easy to maintainCollaborate with colleagues on design and architectureBuild high-throughput and low latency microservicesQualificationsTo be successful you will need : Minimum 2 – 3 year's experienceBS / MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experienceProficiency in Java and the JVMDemonstrated experience building enterprise systems that scaleExtensive experience with LinuxExperience with relational (eg. PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g. Cassandra) databases, SQL proficiencyExperience with AI Coding Agents like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, etc.Experience writing tests throughout the development processExperience with scripting languages (e.g. Python, PHP, Ruby)Experience building scalable RESTful API'sExperience with decentralized systems and microservice architectureExcellent communication skillsLots of enthusiasm and energyA hunger to learn and grow in the field of web and applicationsMust have full NZ working rightsWe will be moving quickly on our hiring process - so don't delay - please apply NOW!
