We are actively seeking an experienced SEO Content Writer to join our remote team. If you have 3-5 years of AGENCY experience , a proven track record in executing successful content campaigns for e-commerce and service-based sites , and proficiency in English, this role is for you.

Job Overview

As an SEO Content Writer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting SEO-optimised content that ranks, engages, and converts. You’ll collaborate closely with SEO Analysts to develop content strategies that align with client goals, oversee content production workflows, and ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and performance. This role requires a balance of technical SEO expertise, creative writing skills, and teamwork capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning : Develop and implement a comprehensive SEO-driven content strategy aligned with the company’s business goals and target audience needs. This includes defining content themes, formats, and channels to drive organic traffic and engagement.
  • SEO Research & Analysis : Conduct thorough keyword research and competitive analysis to identify high-value topics and content opportunities. Use these insights to guide the content roadmap and ensure all content targets relevant search queries and user intent.
  • Stay Current with SEO Trends : Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithm updates, and content marketing best practices, adjusting content approaches to maintain effectiveness and high search rankings.

Content Calendar Planning & Maintenance

  • Content Calendar Management : Create and maintain a detailed content calendar to schedule content production and publication, ensuring a consistent pipeline of content and timely releases. This calendar should cover all planned content (blog posts, outreach articles, etc.) and be regularly reviewed for adherence to deadlines.
  • Alignment with Campaigns : Coordinate content timelines with internal stakeholders (e.g. marketing, SEO teams) to align content launches with marketing campaigns and key business events. Update the content calendar as priorities change or new content opportunities arise, while maintaining an organised workflow.
  • SEO Content Creation & Oversight

  • High-Quality Content Writing : Write and produce high-quality, engaging content (such as blog posts, articles, landing pages, social media and web copy) that is fully SEO-optimised. Incorporate target keywords naturally and apply on-page SEO best practices (proper headings, meta descriptions, internal linking, etc.) to maximise search visibility. You need to understand the difference between keywords for landing pages and blog pages.
  • Consistency & Accuracy : Proofread all content for grammatical accuracy, clarity, and consistency. Ensure every piece adheres to the established style guide and messaging guidelines, so that content across all channels is uniform in tone and free of errors.
  • Content Optimisation & Updates : Perform periodic content audits and update existing content to improve SEO performance and relevance. Refresh outdated information, add new insights or keywords, and incorporate internal links as needed to keep older content up-to-date and valuable
