St Michael's School is a state integrated Catholic primary school serving Years 1–8 in the heart of Taita.

We are seeking a faith-filled, experienced educator to join our team as a Scale A teacher in our Y7–8 class.

The successful applicant must have a willingness and ability to participate in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school is a condition of appointment.

We are looking for a teacher who :

Has proven experience in teaching and leadership within a primary Catholic school setting.

Brings a genuine commitment to our Catholic faith, values, and mission.

Has experience working successfully within a Pasifika community, building strong relationships with students, whanau, and parish.

Has experience in structured literacy and mathematics, with a track record of lifting achievement.

Is willing to contribute fully to the corporate life of the school, embracing the many opportunities for service and leadership.

Has excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with a passion for inspiring staff and students.
