Job Description – Beauty Therapist

Looks Beauty and Hair Salon Limited (Hawke's Bay)

Position : Beauty Therapist

Location : Hawke's Bay

Hours :

hours per week

Pay Rate : $26 – $33 per hour

Minimum Requirements :

At least 2 years of relevant industry experience, or

A Level 4 qualification

About the Role

Looks Beauty and Hair Salon Limited is seeking a skilled and passionate Beauty Therapist to join our team in Hawke's Bay. The ideal candidate will be confident in delivering professional beauty treatments, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining high hygiene and safety standards. You will be working in a busy salon environment with a loyal client base, offering a wide range of beauty services.

Key Responsibilities

Perform a variety of beauty treatments including facials, waxing, threading, massages, manicures, pedicures, and skincare services

Provide personalised skin and beauty consultations based on client needs

Recommend appropriate products and treatment plans to clients

Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic workspace in line with industry standards

Manage appointment bookings and client enquiries professionally

Build strong client relationships to encourage repeat business

Work collaboratively with the team to support daily salon operations

Stay up to date with current beauty trends, techniques, and products

Skills & Attributes

Strong knowledge of beauty therapy techniques and skincare

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Professional presentation and a friendly, approachable attitude

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliability, punctuality, and strong attention to detail
