The Opportunity
We are looking for a Team Leader Health, Safety and Wellbeing to join our People and Safety team on a fixed‑term basis of 9 months covering parental leave. This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week) position, based in Dunedin. In this role you will be leading a small team and ensuring health and safety procedures are followed across the organisation.
The purpose of this position is to provide leadership and subject matter expertise for ORC's Health, Safety and Wellbeing function, driving a proactive, learning-oriented culture that prioritises enablement and continuous improvement. The role actively builds constructive and collaborative relationships across the ORC and with external stakeholders – enabling leaders and teams to embed HSW into everyday work – while maintaining legal compliance with HSWA 2015 and other applicable legislation.
