Teacher of Outdoor Education – Permanent, full‑time position starting Term 1, 2026.

Location and School

Wellington High School and Com Ed Centre – Wellington, North Island

Qualifications

Suitably qualified and experienced in outdoor education.
Committed to the prioritisation of Mātauranga Māori and bicultural practice.
Experience supporting students in an inclusive, supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

Design, plan and deliver outdoor education lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.

Collaborate with the faculty to incorporate Māori perspectives and local community resources.

Support students’ social, emotional and physical development through outdoor experiences.

Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
