St Patrick’s Taumarunui is a multicultural Catholic school in the heart of the King Country. We are seeking a New Zealand registered primary school teacher with recent classroom experience to join our team in 2026.

We welcome applications from teachers who can use the refreshed curriculum to plan engaging, well-structured programmes in religious education, reading, writing, and mathematics. Skills and experience with current assessment practices, PB4L, the CODE spelling programme and the structured literacy approach would be an advantage.

The successful applicant will be willing to support the special character of our school, while being collaborative, reflective, and committed to nurturing our ākonga as faithful, responsible, lifelong learners.
