We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Oceanfreight to lead our ocean freight operations and drive strategic initiatives to enhance our service offerings. This role requires a deep understanding of the ocean freight market, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering excellence in logistics.

Location : Auckland, New Zealand

Reporting Lines : Directly report : Managing Director, New Zealand & Fiji; Dotted line report : Function Head - Oceanfreight

What do we expect from you as part of the forwarding leading company?

• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize ocean freight operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Oversee the management of ocean freight contracts, pricing strategies, and service levels.
• Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of ocean freight services with other logistics solutions.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards related to ocean freight.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, carriers, and regulatory bodies.
