Tikipunga High School is seeking a passionate and skilled senior science teacher. With increasing numbers of students engaging in senior science subjects and pursuing science-based pathways, this is a rewarding opportunity in a well-resourced and supportive kura.

We are looking for an enthusiastic practitioner who demonstrates :

• Strong curriculum knowledge in senior science, with the ability to teach NCEA Level 1–3 programmes (NCEA experience essential).
• Clear subject strengths : please state your expertise (e.g. chemistry, physics, biology, earth & space science).
• A proven commitment to raising Māori achievement, embedding Mana Ōrite and delivering culturally responsive, relational teaching.
• Positive, restorative approaches to working with ākonga, whānau and colleagues.
• A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset, with high expectations for student success.
• A genuine passion for science education, inspiring curiosity, critical thinking and engagement.
