We're seeking a passionate and dedicated nursery teacher to join our team at Halswell Commons (30 to 35 hours p / w).

Your responsibilities

Provide a safe, caring and supportive environment for all children

Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

Deliver an engaging, age-appropriate curriculum that encourages a love of learning

Complete developmental assessments and maintain accurate records

Collaborate with the team to plan and deliver enriching activities

Act as a person responsible for the centre when required.

What we're looking for

Experienced ECE applicants.

Qualified teachers are preferred, but strong experience and passion are highly valued

A desire to work with children aged 0 to 2 years

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A commitment to creating a positive, nurturing learning environment, with flexibility to support all age groups

Interest in or willingness to learn about the Montessori philosophy

Availability Monday to Friday, 30 to 35 hours per week

Legal right to work in New Zealand.
